11:33 am ETSU pharmacy students help Jonesborough senior citizens
JOHNSON CITY (AP) — Pharmacy students at East Tennessee State University continue a series today to educate senior citizens about health issues.
The students will make the free public presentation at the Historic Jonesborough Visitors Center and Museum. The topic will be “Dangers of High and Low Blood Pressure.”
The assignment is part of the mandatory class, “Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experiences, Third Professional Year.”
Presentations have been about cancers of the breast, prostate, lung and colon; medical emergencies at home; depression; and consumer health issues.
