Pleasant Beach Baptist Church, located at 108 Pleasant Beach Road, was pastored for 43 years by Rev. Bobby Stout, who recently retired. Service times are Sunday School at 10 a.m. followed by morning worship at 11 a.m. Sunday evening worship is at 7 p.m. The midweek prayer service is at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The Master Clubs and Teens for Christ also meet Wednesday at 7 p.m. The church supports a number of missions, among them the Tri-State Baptist Children’s Home, Temple Baptist Academy, Crown Bible College, Macedonia World Baptist Missions, Wycliffe Bible Translators, Shenandoah Baptist Church Children’s Ministries and the Open Bible Hour Ministries.
