EHDA rates as high performer in public housing assessment
The Elizabethton Housing and Development Agency, Inc. (EHDA) received its fiscal year 2011 Public Housing Assessment System (PHAS) score on Feb.17. The EHDA received an overall score of 98 and is designated as a high performer.
PHAS is the comprehensive management tool utilized by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to effectively and fairly measure Public Housing Agency’s performance on an annual basis. PHAS is based on four indicators, Physical Condition (40 possible points), Financial Condition (25 possible points), Management Operations (25 possible points) and Capital Fund (10 possible points) with an overall maximum possible score of 100.
The EHDA received a score of 38 on Indicator 1 Physical Condition, 25 on Indicator 2, Financial Condition, 25 on Indicator 3, Management Operations and 10 on Indicator 4, Capital Fund for a total score of 98.
