Sycamore No. 163 Order of the Eastern Star will have a stated meeting at 7:30 p.m. at Dashiell Lodge. Members are encouraged to attend and visiting members are welcome.

Thursday-Feb. 23
The Buladeen Citizens Center Club, 2819 Highway 91, Stoney Creek, will meet at 6:30 p.m. All members are urged to attend as there will be a discussion on information taken from the Second Harvest Food Bank. The club is still searching for “Stoney Creek Memories,” which can include mementos about schools, ball teams, churches, people and much more. Members are especially looking for pictures and information relating to the former Midway School on Stoney Creek. The Elizabethton Senior Dance Club will hold a dance at the Elizabethton Elks Lodge, No. 1847, 1000 N. Sycamore St., from 7 to 10 p.m. Music will be provided by the Rambling Rose Band. Those attending are asked to bring finger foods to share. There is a $6 door charge.
Southern Countrymen Band will perform from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at Buffalo Ruritan Club in Bluff City. Admission is $5.

Saturday-Feb. 25
The Jonesborough Kiwanis Club will host its annual Spaghetti Supper at the Jonesborough Middle School, which is located on Highway 11E. The all-you-can-eat meal will be served from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. The menu will include noodles with a delicious special meat sauce (and a meatless alternative) complete with hot bread, a salad, drink and homemade desserts. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children under 12. Tickets are available from any Jonesborough Kiwanis member or at the door. Carryout will be available.
Alcoholics Anonymous 12-Step Closed Meeting will be held at 2 p.m. at Crossroads, 413 East Elk Ave., Elizabethton.
The Bakersfield Band will perform at the Bristol Country Music Showpalace, 14364 Lee Highway, Bristol, Va., from 7 to 10 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. Admission is $5. A free cake walk will be held. The facility also offers a deli, 50/50 tickets and a drawing for someone to get in free the next open night. Sycamore Shoals Hospital Volunteers will hold a jewelry/accessories sale from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Every item is available for $5. Payment by cash, checks, credit cards and payroll deduction is available. The event will be held in the hospital classrooms.
Pine Ridge Care and Rehabilitation will hold a “Family Night” starting at 6 p.m. A group of nursing students from Northeast State Community College will present a program on “Coping Skills.” Refreshments will be served. A door prize will be awarded.

The Disabled American Veterans Chapter 17 and Auxiliary will hold the monthly meeting at South Side Christian Church Recreation Building on South Side Road. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. with a business meeting to follow at 7 p.m. All members are requested to attend.
The Elizabethton Band Boosters will meet in the band room at EHS. The Executive Board will meet at 6:45 p.m. The boosters meeting will commence at 7:30 p.m. The public is encouraged to attend. The band’s upcoming trip to the Disney parks in Florida will be discussed. Interested persons are encouraged to check out the band’s website at betsyband.org to see photos and a video of this year’s students.
