$28,825 worth of jewelry reported stolen

About $29,000 worth of jewelry was reported stolen over the weekend from a Powder Branch Road residence.

Adam Earl Mullins told Deputy Ricky Kinner of the Carter County Sheriff’s Department that his residence had been broken into and his jewelry box had been taken from his master bedroom. He said he left his resident at 8:15 a.m. Friday and returned at 4 p.m. the same day.
