40 to 50 Stoney Creek homes will be without water during repairs

The First Utility District of Carter County announced that between 40 and 50 homes will lose their water service starting Monday, Dec. 3.

A spokesperson for First Utility said that the primary homes that will be affected will be in the area of Rome Hollow and Melody Lane in Stoney Creek.

The spokesperson was unable to determine how long the water outage will last. She did, however, confirm that the shutoff will be the result of general maintenance and repair work on a water pump house on Rome Hollow.
