6 trucks will need repairs after crash at Grindstaff Ford

A local car dealership will have to repair six brand new trucks after a vehicle crashed on its property.

Elizabethton Police Department Patrolman Justin Pearce reported that a Saturn Vue veered off West Elk Avenue Sunday evening and crashed into a pole, which came crashing down on top of six new vehicles. At about 5:19 p.m. Sunday, Pearce said Peggy Morrow, 73, of 508-A Pilgrim Court, Johnson City, was driving a white 2008 Saturn Vue eastbound on West Elk Avenue near the Grindstaff Ford car dealership.
