Racin’ with Rick: Andrews denied title in 2012

Will Andrews was deprived of a Victory Sports Hot Summer Nights Supercross Series championship last fall.
The young man from Hampton held a commanding points lead in the 65cc (7-9-years-old) class with three races remaining in the 16-event schedule. His mother, Karla, said her son was instructed to not enter that division any longer at either the Appalachian Fairgrounds in Gray or I-81 Motorsports Park in Greeneville.
Andrews came up short for the title, by 12 points, finishing runner-up on his Kawasaki.
