Anna Hopson Kinch is described as a demanding educator who worked to make sure her students were prepared for high-education opportunities. Kinch is one of four inductees into the Educators Hall of Fame this weekend.

Kinch worked for 31 years as an English teacher at Elizabethton High School. When she was first hired at EHS, the school was a part of the county school system. The school was later made a part of the Elizabethton City School system.
