Mr. and Mrs. Carl E. Crowe celebrated 50th anniversary

Carl and Annie Crowe were married on December 24, 1961, by Rev. O.E. Brinson at the Clyde Church of God, Clyde, N.C.

Mrs. Crowe is the former Annie Nell Jones, daughter of the late Leonard and Ethel Fox Jones of Sylva, N.C.

Mr. Crowe is the son of the late Ernest and Mae Belle Barnett Crow of Hampton.

The couple are the parents of a son, Timothy Carl Crowe.

They have two grandchildren, Tasha Leann Crowe Loveless and husband Nick, and Timothy Carl Crowe Jr. (T.J.) and wife Rustie.

They also have three great-grandchildren, Nicholas Zane Loveless, Makaylah Deseree Crowe and Jaykob Exavier Crowe.

The Crowes are expecting another great-grandson in April, Carl Wayne Loveless.

The couple were honored with a “Surprise” 50th Anniversary Party given by their family at the Roan Street Church of God Fellowship Hall. They celebrated the “special” occasion with family and church family.
