Mr. and Mrs. John Salyer observe 50th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. John Salyer, 2416 Huffine Circle, Johnson City, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, November 25, 2011.

They were married on November 25, 1961.

Mrs. Salyer is the former Claudette Marie White.

The couple are the parents of a son, the late David Kent Salyer.

John is retired from the City of Johnson City. Claudette works part-time for the City of Johnson City.

The Salyers took a cruise to the Bahamas to mark the occasion.
