Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Perry celebrating 50th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Perry of Bluff City celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Thursday, December 22, 2011.

Mrs. Perry is the former Selma Sams.

They were married December 22, 1961, at Borderview Christian Church by Mr. Stanley Sams.

The couple are the parents of a son, Douglas Perry of Bluff City, and a daughter, Beverly Moody of Piney Flats. They have three grandchildren.

Lawrence is employed as a barber at Perry’s Barber Shop. Selma is retired from Raytheon.
