Mr. and Mrs. M.B. Pruitt celebrated 50th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. M.B. Pruitt, 605 Maple Street, Elizabethton, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, October 5, 2011.

They were married October 5, 1961, at the home of Rev. Leroy Baker.

Mrs. Pruitt is the former Charlotte Sims.

The couple are the parents of Rebecca Jarnagin and her husband Allen of Elizabethton and Frances and Teddy Miller, also of Elizabethton.

They have one granddaughter, Hayley Jarnagin.

M.B. and Charlotte celebrated their golden anniversary with a surprise party given by friends and family on Saturday, October 8.
