Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Fletcher of Elizabethton celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends on Sunday, October 9, 2011, at Big Springs Baptist Church.They were married in Butler in 1961 by Rev. C.H. Forester.
Mrs. Fletcher is the former Debbie “Pearl” Winters.
The Fletchers are the parents of Mike Fletcher of Elizabethton, Anita Whitehead of Johnson City, and Donna Mathes of Watauga.
The couple have five grandchildren: 2Lt USAF Brandon Whitehead, Shaleia Whitehead of Carson-Newman College, Carson Whitehead of Happy Valley High, Stephanie Fletcher of Unaka High and Joy Fletcher of Unaka Elementary.
