Mr. and Mrs. Steve Wheeler celebrate silver anniversary

Dr. and Mrs. Steve Wheeler, 163 John Alford Loop, Elizabethton, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on Thursday, August 9, 2012.

They were married August 9, 1987, at Immanuel Baptist Church by Rev. John Perkins and Rev. Ed Wheeler.

Mrs. Wheeler is the former Pamela Faye Parker.

The couple are the parents of Ashley Wheeler and her fiancé, Bill Ferlauto of Charlotte, N.C., Candace Markland and her husband Daniel of Elizabethton, and Alex Wheeler and his wife Crystal of Oklahoma City, Okla.

They have two grandchildren, Malachi Markland and Lilly Wheeler.

The family of Steve and Pam surprised them with a catered event at the Bonnie Kate Cafe on Sunday, August 12.
