Annual Greene Memorial Singing begins August 2

The Annual Everette and Tony Greene Memorial Gospel Singing Jubilee will be held at the KOA Campground, 123 Harmony Mountain Lane, Boone, N.C., beginning Thursday, Aug. 2.

Singing will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

Featured Thursday will be The Mark Trammell Quartet, Servant’s Heart and The Greenes.

Friday will be “Tennessee Night” and scheduled to sing are The Talleys, Brian Burchfield, and The Greenes.

Saturday’s lineup includes The Lesters, Phil Cross, and The Greenes.

Singing Sunday will be The Freemans and The Greenes with Tim Greene preaching.

Special appearances will be made during the weekend by Kim Greene Hopper of The Hoppers, one of the original members of The Greenes.

An admittance fee of $15 will be charged. Children ten and under will be admitted free.

The singing will be held rain or shine; bring sweaters.
