Board zeroes in on letter to newspaper

A recent Letter to the Editor published in the Elizabethton STAR was the focus of discussion at Monday evening’s Elizabethton Carter County Animal Shelter Advisory Board.

East Tennessee Spay and Neuter Executive Director Danika Nadzan wrote a Letter to the Editor published in the STAR on Sunday, Aug. 26. In the letter, Nadzan expressed her concerns that the shelter was not doing enough to make sure animals were adopted into suitable homes and that the pets were not being spayed or neutered as required by Tennessee law.
