Bristol ready for racing
BRISTOL — The boys — and Danica — are back in town.
The NASCAR world converges on East Tennessee for the first of two visits to Bristol Motor Speedway for the annual Food City 500 weekend, capped by the Sprint Cup event Sunday.
For the fourth consecutive race, Sprint Cup drivers will bring their new GEN-6 cars to a different style of track, this time the first short track on the season’s schedule. Throw in the new style of racing on the concrete surface and it could make for an interesting weekend.
