Buffs edged by Bulldogs

Milligan College’s basketball team was knocked out of first place in the Appalachian Athletic Conference on Saturday night.
That was after holding a 13-point lead in the first half. Tennessee Wesleyan prevailed 82-79 at a balmy Steve Lacy Fieldhouse.
“They’ve got a ton of talent, and I thought we battled hard,” Milligan coach Bill Robinson said. “I thought we fought hard, and I was just really, really proud of my team. We played well.
