Bulldogs take control in second quarter, go on to beat Longhorns

After a pretty even first quarter, Hampton made like a runaway train in the second one and steamed past Johnson County 64-46 on Friday inside VanHuss-White Gymnasium.

The Bulldogs outscored the ‘Horns 25-7 in the frame to blow open a close contest.

It was the perfect storm, according to Hampton coach Ned Smith. He liked what he saw out of each of his players.
