The Bulldogs blasted Johnson County 65-52 in non-conference action at VanHuss-White Gymnasium. The rout got as high as 20 points in the fourth quarter.
“The kids stepped up and played real well without Cody (McClain),” Hampton coach Ned Smith said. “He’s a big part of our offense. Wes (Murray) ran the point, and Cameron Crain came off the bench and ran the point some.
“The kids just played hard on defense. We got the ball inside to Johnny and Stan.”
