Police are asking anyone with information about a armed robbery in Hampton Monday evening to come forward.
Authorities say a gunman stole what authorities estimate was “approximately 2,500” oxycodone pills from Hampton Pharmacy at 339 U.S. Highway 321.
CCSD Capt. Mike Little estimated that the “street value” of the stolen merchandise was somewhere between $30,000 and $40,000.
As the sheriff’s department continues its investigation, Little said welcome’s the public’s help: “Any information related to it would be greatly appreciated,” Little said.
In the CCSD incident report, Sgt. Brian Durham said witnesses told him a man entered the store wearing a mask and brandishing a semi-automatic pistol.
