Celebrate Earth Day with a tree hike


Join retired forester Martin Miller for a special guided tour of Sycamore Shoals State Historic Park’s new arboretum Saturday, April 20. Discover a variety of native trees and fun facts about their unique qualities, historical uses and contributions to local culture.

Dress appropriately for the weather as attendees will be taking a casual stroll on the park grounds adjacent to the front parking lot. Meet in the Visitors Center. The tour will begin at 3 p.m. and will last about an hour.

Tour is by reservation only, and space is limited. For more information or to make reservations, call 543-5808.
