Center director thankful for work of Eastman volunteers
Editor:
I wanted to say thank you to the volunteers with Tennessee Eastman who came to the Elizabethton Senior Center for the Week of Caring and gave us a whole new look! They cleaned out our flowerbeds and mulched and planted, built a horseshoe pit for our members, painted, and cleaned out closets as well as other jobs around our facility. They were so kind, friendly with our participants, took time to visit, and worked very hard in extreme heat.
Also, thanks to United Way and Debbie Guy for pulling all of this together for our community. Thanks again to each of the volunteers that worked here and in other agencies. A great service and you should feel proud of all you accomplished. We hope to be involved in this again next year.
