Unaka Baptist
Unaka Baptist Church, 1598 Highway 91, will have its monthly Brotherhood Breakfast Saturday, Jan. 11, from 7 to 10 a.m.

First Christian
Cris Garcia of Bethshean Ministries in Mexico will be the guest speaker at the Sunday morning service Jan. 12 at First Christian Church of Elizabethton.
Garcia will give a brief presentation at the 9:45 a.m. worship service and a more in-depth session during the Sunday School hour at 11 a.m.
At noon a fundraiser luncheon will be held in the fellowship hall for Janie Broyles and Lorrie Case, who will be going from First Christian to Bethshean Ministries to work for a week in February.
The Sunday evening service will be held at 6 p.m.
The Ladies Bible Study will be held Monday morning in the Fidelis Classroom.
The Wednesday evening Bible study will be held at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary.

New Liberty
The Rev. John Babb will preach Sunday, Jan. 12, at the 11 a.m. worship service at New Liberty Free Will Baptist Church.

New Liberty Free Will Baptist is located at 113 Peters Hollow Road near the Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Department.

Bethlehem Lutheran
“Don’t You Know” is the sermon theme for morning worship Sunday, Jan. 12, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 201 E. Watauga Ave., Johnson City. The scripture text is Rom. 6: 1-11.
Morning worship will be held at 8 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Sunday School and Bible study will be held at 9:15 a.m.
Interpreted services for the deaf are available on the second and fourth Saturdays at the 10:45 a.m. service.

First United Methodist
The sermon “The Beginning of the Unending” based on Matt. 3: 13-17 will be presented Sunday, Jan. 12, at the morning worship service at First United Methodist Church of Elizabethton.
The service will begin at 10 a.m., followed by a brief fellowship. Sunday School will begin at 11:20 a.m.
The Men’s Prayer Group will meet Sunday at 9 a.m. in Room 108.
The Sunday evening Bible study on Acts will be held at 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall.
UMY will meet Sunday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Youth House. The G2s will meet Tuesday from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. in the youth house and the Coolagers will meet Wednesday from 3:15 to 4:45 p.m.
The Wednesday evening service will be held at 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall.
The Rev. Raymond Amos is pastor at First United Methodist and Debbie Fields is minister to children and youth.

Oak Street Baptist
The American Red Cross Bloodmobile will be at Oak Street Baptist Church, 804 Oak St., Elizabethton, for blood collections Monday, Jan. 13.
The collection time will be from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m.
