Church of the Week: Rittertown Baptist Church

Rittertown Baptist Church is located at 822 Rittertown Road, Hampton. The church is a member of the Watauga Association of Baptists. Sunday services include Sunday School at 10 a.m., morning worship at 11 a.m. and evening worship at 6 p.m. A midweek prayer service is held on Wednesday. The pastor is the Rev. Richard Stout. The church and community takes its name from the time the W.M. Ritter Lumber Co. and sawmill operated in the Hampton community.
