Elizabethton First Church of the Nazarene

With beginnings in a tent revival at the junction of Elk, Broad and Roan streets in 1934, the Elizabethton Church of the Nazarene is a small congregation with a big heart. Our purpose is to worship the Lord and further his kingdom. We invite you to come and worship with us in a lovely sanctuary filled with caring, loving people. As Christians, we believe that one of our goals here on earth is to win souls to our Lord, Jesus Christ. With that in mind, we have a ministry at the Life Care Center in Elizabethton and are developing a community outreach program for youth of all ages. We are a mission-minded church, supporting several different mission projects. We also support World Mission Communications, which broadcasts into nearly 100 countries in over 30 languages and dialects.
In today's rapidly changing world, God's grace and the needs of the human heart are unchanging. The Church of the Nazarene offers to people today the same warm-hearted church and victorious Christian faith that have made it attractive thoughout its history.
Our motto is "Our church can be your home!" We believe you will find that to be very evident on your first visit. Service times are 10:45am and 6pm with Sunday School meeting at 9:45am. Wednesday night prayer and worship are held at 7pm.
