Colbaugh – Combs

Announcement is made of the engagement and forthcoming marriage of Ashley Rose Colbaugh and Daniel Lawrence Combs.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Gary and Rosa Colbaugh of Elizabethton. She is the granddaughter of Norman and Rosie Edwards and Jessie and Brenda Colbaugh, all of Elizabethton.

Ashley is a 2008 graduate of Elizabethton High School. She is a 2011 graduate of Northeast State Community College with an AS degree in Pre-K-3rd Education and a 2012 graduate of Northeast State with an AAS in Early Childhood Development. She is employed at Carter Cares.

Her fiancé is the son of Lynn and Sue Combs of Zionville, N.C. He is the grandson of Red and Joan Campbell and Ernest and Loretta Combs, all of Zionville. He is the great-grandson of Winnie Thomas, also of Zionville.

Daniel is a 2006 graduate of Watauga High School, Boone, N.C. He is a volunteer fireman and is employed at Charter Communications of Boone.

The couple will be married Saturday, May 26, 2012, at the Trade Mill.
