Commissioners move to shield 911 from liability

This time, 911 was calling for assistance.

Carter County Commission voted Tuesday to resolve a liability question hovering around the transfer of some county records to the building used by the Emergency Communication District.

With too much weight from records stored there bearing down on the weakened third floor of the Carter County Courthouse, files were recently moved to the current 911 building.
