Hampton Lodge No. 750 will hold a stated meeting at 7 p.m. All members are encouraged to attend. Visitors are always welcome.

The Elizabethton Senior Center with the SALT Council will offer a program for National Elder Abuse Awareness Day at 10 a.m. Please wear purple in recognition of this day. The public is invited to attend. Refreshments will be served.

Southern Countrymen Band will perform from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at The Outdoorsman on Stone Drive in Kingsport. Admission is $5. For more information, call Daryl Goodman at 943-5600.

The Elizabethton Senior Center will host a dance from 7 to 10 p.m. with music provided by DJ “Jerry.” The event will offer a variety of music and cakewalks. Please bring refreshments to share. Cost is $5 per person.

Saturday-June 16

The annual Isaacs Cemetery Dinnerwill be held at 1 p.m. on the grounds of the cemetery in the Buck Mountain community of Roan Mountain. Those attending are asked to bring enough food and drinks for their families. Plates, cups, napkins, utensils and ice will be furnished.

The Elizabethton High School Class of 1967will hold a picnic at East River Park Christian Church Picnic Area at 5 p.m. Attendees are asked to bring a covered dish to share and their own drink. For more information, call Carolyn at 306-1883.

Historic Oak Hill Cemetery of Johnson City will hold its annual Decoration Day. All descendants of persons buried in the cemetery are welcome to come and place flowers on their ancestors’ graves. The cemetery owner, Tim McKinney, and members of the Oak Hill Friends and Volunteers will be present between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. to answer questions and help find the graves of family and friends.

The fifth annual Thomas Hovatter Lymphedema Awareness Day will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. at Hossanna Fellowship Church on Sunset Drive in Johnson City. Dr. Paula Stewart from Birmingham, Ala., is the guest speaker. A free lunch will be served.

The Disabled American Veterans Chapter 17 and Auxiliary will hold their monthly meeting at South Side Christian Church Recreation Building on South Side Road. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. with a business meeting to follow at 7 p.m. All members are requested to attend. New officers will be installed at this meeting. The chapter normally meets the second Thursday of each month.
