Hampton Lodge No. 750 will hold a School of Instruction with Tennessee Grand Lodge Lecturer Brother Darryl Millard. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. with the meeting to follow at 7 p.m. All area lodges are invited to attend.

Uptown Country Band will perform from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at The Outdoorsman on Stone Drive in Kingsport. Admission is $5. For more information, call Daryl Goodman at 943-5600.

The Green Pastures Group of Alcoholics Anonymous will meet at 8 p.m. in the Conference Room at Crossroads, 413 East Elk Ave., Elizabethton.

 

Saturday-June 23

The Hampton High School Band will hold a fundraising event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the parking lot at Big Lots in Elizabethton. The event will feature a car wash, bake sale and hotdog sale. The car wash is by donation. For more information, call 725-4591.

Dancer’s Dreams Performing Arts Academy of Elizabethton will hold a spring review at 10:30 a.m. on the gym stage at Elizabethton Parks and Rec on Mill Street. Tickets are only $1 at the door. Entertainer Marlow Tackett will perform at 6 p.m. at Freedom Fellowship Center on Stoney Creek. Everyone is welcome.

Narcotics Anonymous “Just For Today” group will meet at the Crossroads Building at 12:15 p.m. Enter through the entrance at the rear of the building.

Borderline will perform from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at Buffalo Ruritan Club in Bluff City. Admission is $5.

Alcoholics Anonymous 12-Step Closed Meeting will be held at 2 p.m. at Crossroads, 413 East Elk Ave., Elizabethton.

 

Sunday-June 24

A family reunion for descendants of Woodrow and Blonnie Crowe Bowers will be held at 1 p.m. at the park behind the Carter County Jail. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish to share. All other items will be furnished. For more information, call 725-2775 or 325-3523.
