Watauga Lodge No. 622 will hold a benefit yard sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. across from Range Elementary School. The sale will continue on Saturday during the same hours.

Distant Thunder will perform from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at Buffalo Ruritan Club in Bluff City. Admission is $5.

Decoration Day at Lyons Cemetery will be held at 2 p.m. with a special speaker and singing. Please come join the tribute to loved ones who have gone on ahead. The event offers a chance to reflect on loved ones and the memories God has blessed you with.

The descendants of Virgil and Minnie Harmon will hold their annual family reunion at noon at the home of Saundra “Son” Grindstaff at 455 Main St., Butler. Those attending are asked to please bring a covered dish and join with their relatives for an afternoon of fun and fellowship. The McKinney Reunion will be held starting at 12:30 p.m. at Shelter No. 2 at Roan Mountain State Park. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish to share.
