The Buladeen Citizens Center Club, 2819 Highway 91, Stoney Creek, will host a lasagna dinner (prepared by Gert) from 4 to 7 p.m. with special singing by Ronnie D. Blevins. Descendants of the late Johnny and Ida Hyder Simerly will hold a family reunion at Little Doe Freewill Baptist Church Fellowship Hall on Simerly Creek Road. Attendees will begin to gather for the reunion at 11 a.m. and will eat lunch at 1 p.m. Participants are asked to bring a covered dish and family photos to share. Rocky Top Gun Permit School will hold a Tennessee Handgun Permit training class beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the B&K Community Center on the Old Bristol Highway in Elizabethton. A Spaghetti Supper will be held at the TLC Community Center, 145 Judge Don Lewis Blvd., Elizabethton, from noon to 3 p.m. The event is a fundraiser for the Abortion Alternatives and Women’s Center. An all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet will be held from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Elizabethton Senior Citizens Center. The menu will offer scrambled eggs, sausage, pork tenderloin, hash browns, biscuits, gravy, pancakes, apple butter, juice and coffee for $6 for adults and $3 for children 10 and under. Carryouts will be available. Enjoy the music of John Parsons and Bob Szabo as you dine. Everyone is welcome. All proceeds go toward operating expenses at the center.

The Elizabethton Senior Dance Club will hold a dance at the Elizabethton Elks Lodge, No. 1847, 1000 N. Sycamore St., from 7 to 10 p.m. The Rambling Rose Band will provide the music for the dance. Those attending are asked to bring finger foods to share. There is a $6 door charge. Everyone is welcome.

The annual celebration day for the Walnut Mountain Cemetery Association is scheduled for 1 p.m. If you plan to attend, you are asked to bring enough food to feed your family members plus two. Anyone who is unable to attend this year’s event but would like to donate to the cemetery may send donations to the Walnut Mountain Cemetery Association in care of Sheila Morton, 931 Rittertown Road, Hampton, TN 37658.

The annual Whitehead Cemetery Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. The cemetery is located on Cable Road in Butler. An offering will be collected for upkeep of the cemetery.
