Sycamore Shoals Hospital will host a WordWorks Art Sale in the cafeteria from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All orders placed will be delivered to the hospital in early December. The Disabled American Veterans Chapter 17 and Auxiliary will hold its monthly meeting at the Southside Christian Church Recreation Building (the old school) on Southside Road. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. with a business meeting to follow at 7 p.m. All members are requested to attend. The chapter normally meets the second Thursday of each month. The Keenburg Elementary School Parent-Teacher Organization will host a fall festival from 6 to 8 p.m. in the gym. There is no admission charge; tickets to play games are 25 cents each.
