The American Legion Post No. 49 Auxiliary will hold their annual yard sale starting at 8 a.m. inside the Legion building located on the corner of Watauga Avenue and G Street in Elizabethton. All proceeds are used for the benefit of veterans in the local area, including the Mountain Home Veterans Administration Hospital.

The Odom Family Reunion will be held at the Ted Shed at Roan Mountain State Park from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Julius Dugger DAR will meet at the Elizabethton/Carter County Public Library from 10 a.m. to noon. All members are urged to attend. Visitors are welcome.

Rambling Rose will perform from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at Buffalo Ruritan Club in Bluff City. Admission is $5.
