Nathan Goodwin / Publisher

Nathan directs the daily operations of the paper, developing policies and strategies that influence the overall direction of the Star.  He and his management team work with a mutual goal in mind to produce the best Newspaper possible, day in and day out.  An Elizabethton native, Nathan graduated from Elizabethton High School and East Tennessee State University. He received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence degree from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, Birmingham AL, and practiced with a local firm before joining the Star in November 2007.

Patsy Johnson  / Publisher

Responsibilities at the Star:

Patsy serves as executive secretary to the Publisher and as an administrative assistant. She also serves management as a liason to the various departments of the paper, assisting in the daily operation of the newspaper.
