County attorney Bowers seeks Sessions judgeship

To say Keith Bowers Jr. is a busy man might be something of an understatement.

Carter County Attorney Keith Bowers Jr., who also represents Washington County and the town of Watauga, is launching his campaign for the Carter County General Sessions Court judgeship.

Carter County Attorney Keith Bowers Jr., who also represents Washington County and the town of Watauga, is launching his campaign for the Carter County General Sessions Court judgeship.

While operating his own private law practice, he also serves as county attorney for both Washington and Carter counties and city attorney for the town of Watauga, serves on the state’s Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Director Nominating Committee and chairs the Tennessee Office of the Post-Conviction Defender’s board.

Though he has worked in many aspects of the law, Bowers is asking the public for an opportunity to serve them in a new capacity: as Carter County’s General Sessions Court judge.
