County school officials pleased with test scores
Carter County’s Interim Director of Schools and Federal Testing Supervisor are generally pleased following the release of last year’s standardized test scores for elementary and high school students. The Tennessee Department of Education recently released the results of the Tennessee Comprehensive Assessment Program (TCAP) and End of Course standardized tests for each school system in the Volunteer State.
Interim Director of Schools Dr. Kevin Ward and Federal Testing Supervisor Dr. Jerri Beth Nave recently spoke to the Elizabethton STAR about the scores and their overall feelings regarding the impact on education in Carter County.
