Dr. Richard Bimler speaker for ‘Joyfully Aging’ event

KINGSPORT — Dr. Richard Bimler will speak on the blessing of aging at the “Joyfully Aging” event Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Kingsport Civic Auditorium.

A light breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m., and Bimler will speak at 9 a.m.

He will take an upbeat and real look at wellness, relationships, communication and aging with grace. Bimler is author of “Joyfully Aging” and is former president of Wheat Ridge Ministries. Following Dr. Bimler’s talk, Larry Braaten, a local representative of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, will present a workshop, “Heart-to-Heart: As Parents Age.”
