Driver faces DUI charge after wreck

Sgt. Michael Bean said he responded to the 800 block of Gap Creek Road in reference to an accident with injuries. While responding, dispatchers advised the officer the driver was walking down Water Plant Road.

Bean said he located the man, 20-year-old Steven Daniel McQueen, at Water Plant Road and Southside Road. McQueen’s left hand was covered in blood, the officer added.
