EHS, Happy Valley hope to challenge Lady Blue Devils

Returning the bulk of its sub-state team from one year ago, Unicoi County continues to wear the target on the softball diamond in the Three Rivers Conference.
If Elizabethton or Happy Valley has its way, the Lady Blue Devils will be dropped from their perch this season.
With experience in the field and on the mound, the neighboring rivals along with a talented Sullivan East team are looking to make noise of their own in the state’s Class AA softball ranks as the 2013 season gets underway.
Johnson County also returns some experienced players, while Sullivan North looks to improve from its recent play toward the bottom of the league.
