EHS students meet at flagpole for annual prayer service

Students at Elizabethton High School gathered around the flagpole before classes Wednesday morning for student-led prayer and fellowship during the annual See You at the Pole event.

EHS students Alyssa Irmeger and Abbi Carrie lead the group in singing “How Great is Our God” at the See You at the Pole gathering Wednesday morning at Elizabethton High School.
A small group of around 15 students and a few members of the EHS faculty met at the school’s flagpole at 7 a.m. The group sang worship songs and held prayer before starting their day of classes. The event was organized and sponsored by the EHS Fellowship of Christian Athletes club.
