Elizabethton man charged with aiding and abetting robbery

A 50-year-old Elizabethton man has been accused of assisting an armed robbery suspect.

William Laws of Elizabethton was arrested recently in Hickory, N.C., and has been charged with aiding and abetting the armed robbery of the First Citizens Bank in Asheville, N.C. Laws reportedly became ill in Hickory and was hospitalized.
