The members of the GFWC of Tennessee Elizabethton Woman’s Club are hoping the public will consider their upcoming Christmas Arts and Crafts Festival as they begin making their holiday shopping lists.
The two-day festival was hosted for many years by Sycamore Shoals State Historic Park in Elizabethton. However, due to renovation taking place at the park’s visitors center, park management was forced to look for a new entity to host the yearly event.
Brenda Holdren, who is serving as chairperson for the festival, said the membership of the Woman’s Club was more than happy to step forward and host the annual crafts festival.
“We are thrilled to pick up this event,” Holdren said.
This year’s show will be held Friday and Saturday, Nov. 16-17, at the National Guard Armory, 128 Judge Don Lewis Blvd., Elizabethton. The sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days.
