Elks accepting scholarship applications

Applications are now available for the Most Valuable Student Scholarships, which are awarded by the Elks National Foundation.

Officers with the Elizabethton Elks Lodge, No. 1847 explained that the scholarship is open to any high school senior who is a U.S. citizen. Applications are judged on scholarship, leadership and financial need. To download an application, visit www.elks. org/enf/scholars.
