Family Fun Fitness Day planned Saturday at Sycamore Shoals

The annual Family Fun Fitness Day will be held at the pavilions adjacent to Sycamore Shoals State Historic Park and the Franklin Pool on Saturday, Aug. 18.

Attendees can visit with sponsors to receive free goodies from 10 to 11 a.m.

A Family Fun Walk will be held from 11 a.m. to noon.

Enjoy a dip in the pool from noon to 1 p.m. Admission to the pool is free during this event.

The family with the most participating members at this event will receive a prize. The event will also feature other fun prizes and healthy snacks.

Parents/guardians must accompany their children to this event. Sponsors for Family Fun Fitness Day include Carter County Health Council, Coordinated School Health, Healing Paws Pet Therapy, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, UT Extension Service, Chick-fil-A, Walgreens, Franklin Pool and TENNder Care.
