Forecast gives Carter County time to prepare for the worst

Once again, Carter County is preparing for a blast from Mother Nature.

And this time, the winter weather could really pack a punch as the forecast calls for multiple inches of heavy, wet snow starting this afternoon and into Thursday morning.

Projections from the National Weather Service predict lower elevations of Carter County will receive around 7 inches of snow, with higher elevations getting 10 inches or more.
