Gail and Emily Lovelace observe 50th anniversary

Gail and Emily Lovelace celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Sept. 24, with a small gathering of family and friends.

The couple was married on Sept. 22, 1961, at Normandy Baptist Church in Royal Oak, Mich.

Gail is retired from North American Rayon Corporation and Emily is employed as a Tax Advisor for H&R Block.

They are long-time members of Beck Mountain Baptist Church, Elizabethton.

The couple have two children, Cindy Cox and husband, Sid, of Elizabethton, and Wesley Lovelace and wife, Tracy, of South Side, Ala.

They also have four grandchildren, Chelsie Cox, Courtney Cox, Austin Lovelace and Hayley Lovelace.
