The future of both the Hampton and Johnson County football programs are promising, as evidenced by Saturday evening’s Watauga Junior Athletic League play at J.C. Campbell Stadium.
In Grasscutter action, Hampton rolled 36-12. Dylan Trivett cut loose for 190 yards rushing and three touchdowns.
In Mighty Mites, Johnson County dominated 33-0. Jace Stout and Carter Rhudy combined for more than 300 yards on the ground with four TDs.
