Hayley Hood was crowned Miss Pre-Teen Tennessee, United States, on May 18 at the Country Tonight Theatre in Pigeon Forge.
Hayley will be representing Tennessee in Washington, D.C. in July for the United States National Pre-Teen Pageant. She will be competing in the categories of Introduction, On Stage Interview, Sportswear Modeling and Formal Wear.
Contestants from all over the country will participate in the Fourth of July Capitol Hill Parade, a patriotic runway fashion show and Longbridge Park events that include contestants on stage introductions and a fireworks display.
As the new Miss Pre-Teen Tennessee, Hayley will make appearances across the state. She is also actively involved in Relay For Life fundraisers and Princesses for Pets Humane Society fundraisers.
Hayley is the daughter of Scott and Deanna Hood, Elizabethton. She is a Watts Showcase Dancer and a member of First Baptist Church.
Hayley was also crowned Miss Pre-Teen Northeast Tennessee , United States 2013, Dixie Crown Beauty Supreme and Miss Tri-Cities Sweetheart High Point Queen.
Hayley will attend T.A. Dugger Junior High School this fall. Her grandparents are Leon and Nancy Hood, Ted and Carolyn Colbaugh and the late Gerald Pierce.
